Dr Pang Chin Hong devotes his spare time to his alma as President of the University of Manchester Alumni Association of Singapore (UOMAAS). He is the Senior Vice President of Group Sustainability at Frasers Property Limited, one of the largest listed Integrated Real Estate Groups in Singapore.
Dr Pang believes in walking the extra mile, a trait he learned during his school days at The University of Manchester. His consistent contributions and significant achievements in developing a green and sustainable built environment have bagged him the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Sustainability Leadership Awards – Green Advocate.
“I am fully supportive of UOM’s charitable work that is aligned with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Personally, I resonate with the Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions goal that focuses on providing access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable institutions at all levels to drive change in society and everything that we do,” Dr Pang said.
As a parent, Dr Pang recognises the importance of education.
“I am privileged to receive great education. For the same reason, I know that I must do my best to give back to the community, support charitable causes which provide the less privileged basic access to education, and contribute to shaping a better society,” Dr Pang said.
