“At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.” ~ Maya Angelou
In this second series of the 3-part workshop on Public Speaking and Presentation Skills, we will explore how to make those memorable moments. Executive Coach, Andrew Jones will share insights from coaching leaders to tell stories, provoke empathic responses and connect to their audience through emotions to leave a memorable impression.
In this 90-minute workshop, Andrew will introduce a simple story-telling technique and show you how to convert your presentations into stories that balance emotional appeal with the facts you want to convey. He will share some other methods to speak to your audiences’ emotions to get remembered, get repeated and get action.
In the second half, you will have plenty of time to practice crafting your professional stories and get comfortable with telling them out loud. You will also get some feedback about the emotions that your stories evoke and your impact.
