A joint effort by our two alumni associations, University of Manchester Alumni Association of Singapore (UOMAAS) together with Manchester Business School Alumni Association of Singapore (MBSAAS) in support of the annual Manchester Day of Action (MDOA) initiative. MDOA supports United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and this initiative is carried out worldwide at each of our global centres.
The alumni organised two beach clean-ups on 23 July and 13 August 2022 at Pasir Ris Beach and East Coast Beach respectively to clean our coast. Over 20 alumni participated with their family members, with the youngest at 3 years old. It was a meaningful time, well spent with friends and families. Kudos to the volunteers for collecting 20kg+ of rubbish at each event and making a difference in our environment. You are simply awesome!
