On 10th December 2020, we at the South East Asia Centre were delighted to host an informal and intimate gathering for new and returning Global MBA students at the centre premises, the first of our face-to-face events to come as restrictions begin to ease.
The small gathering was intended to provide students with a conducive platform to build and deepen relationships with their peers, particularly those who have had limited opportunity to do so face-to-face due to local restrictions this year.
During the event, our students had the opportunity to hear from our esteemed alumni and MBSAAS council members Mr Teo Teck Loon and Ms Nicole Tretwer as well as alumnus Mr eRic Choo. They reflected upon their own MBA journeys and offered insights on effective time management in managing a healthy work-life balance.
Our speakers also gave out useful study tips to our attendees and advice on how to leverage on their networks for their chosen career pathways. The session saw great feedback from our students who raised inquisitive questions during the question and answer session.
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and we hope to see more of you in the new year!
