In January 2021, we welcomed our new intake students to the Manchester Worldwide S.E. Asia Centre for an in-person Welcome Event with safe distancing measures in place. We were excited to have as many as over 30 locally-residing students attend the event, and it was lovely to see our centre be abuzz with activity again!
On the day, our students were able to get to know their peers prior to beginning their workshops in the next couple of days, and we were fortunate that many of our regional students were able to join us virtually via Zoom.
During the induction, Ms Christine Kartika introduced our Student Advisory and Support Team to the new students, and also imparted some vital information about the course to our students.
3 of our esteemed alumni from the Manchester Business School Alumni Association of Singapore (MBSAAS), Mr Teo Teck Loon, Mr eRic Choo and Ms Nicole Tretwer, were gracious enough to share some tips on productivity, work-life balance and the wealth of skills and invaluable alumni network they gained from their MBA journey, and hosted a casual Q&A session to answer some questions from the floor. We were glad to see the students visibly enjoying themselves and wish them all the best on their MBA journey!
