CSR Event – S.E. Asia Centre Collaboration with HCSA: Workshop with Alumnus Mr Melvin Chia – 3 Oct 2020

The Manchester Worldwide South East Asia Centre teamed up with HCSA Dayspring SPIN under the HCSA Community Services programme to deliver a DISC profiling workshop for their beneficiaries, as conducted by Mr Melvin Chia, on Saturday, 3rd October 2020.

Mr Melvin Chia is an alumnus from our Manchester Global MBA programme, as well as the Founder and CEO of Brydan Group Pte Ltd & Youth Inspired Consulting Pte Ltd, a regional organisational development consultancy film that helps organisations bridge business strategies, process and people together through practical leadership applications. He is also one of the first in Asia to achieve a Certified Master Behavioural Consultant (DiSC), Certified Master Facilitator of The Leadership Challenge (TLC) and Certified Coach in Leadership Practice Inventory (LPI), with a history of having trained and profiled 200,000 participants.

On the day of the workshop, the Manchester Business School Alumni Association of Singapore (MBSAAS) generously sponsored and provided nourishment to all participants in the form of a sumptuous breakfast spread before the workshop. It was a session of energetic engagements and greater self-discoveries for all, helping participants start the weekend on the right note.

The S.E. Asia Centre, along with the MBSAAS and Mr Melvin Chia, are proud to support HCSA Dayspring SPIN, which aims to support caregiving and improve the quality of life for single parents and lone caregivers who lack, or have limited accessibility to emotional, physical or practical support. SPIN provides single parents with access to resources through an ally network of volunteers and an interactive website that empowers them to make informed decisions and helps strengthen their social support network.
