This week, we held a high-energy, hands-on workshop as part of our Critical Core Skills series, βNavigating the Grey: Peer Coaching for Complex Work Challengesβ, led by Executive Coach Andrew Jones, where participants were introduced to Andrewβs powerful Rapid Peer Coaching method.
What makes Rapid Peer Coaching unique? Itβs about looking at a problem without the pressure of solving it, and simply putting up any perspectives, ideas, or even questions that arise. The method helps with identifying blind spots, simplifying an issue, and surfacing emotions around the issue β things that often remain hidden in traditional problem-solving approaches. It also encourages embracing silence during discussions. Above all, itβs rooted in sincere curiosity β about the issue, and about the people involved.
βWhat struck me most about the workshop was the frameworkβs ability to quickly bring clarity and diverse perspectives through peer input. Unlike traditional coaching, it allows space for reflection without the pressure to act immediately. I found it to be a simple yet powerful tool anyone can use.β – Roger Lek, Global MBA Alumni
