On 20th April 2021, the University of Manchester Alumni Association of Singapore (UOMAAS) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Google Meet, the video communication service and meetings platform, in order to abide by the local governmental regulations as a result of Covid-19.
The AGM was held for the purposes of electing the UOMAAS Committee for the 2021 – 2023 term, with the University of Manchester, South East Asia Centre Director, Ms Lim Bee Ing, attending the AGM as a special guest.
We would like to congratulate the elected Executive Committee members, with Dr Pang Chin Hong as President, Dr Sharrada Subramaniam as Vice-President, Mr Fabian Chen as Treasurer and Ms Jennifer Wan as Secretary. Other Committee members elected include Mr Steven Poh, Mr Sunil Rai, Mr Joshur Ang, Ms June Yap, Ms Lim Shaw Pei and Ms Joyce Wei Shao.
We wish them all the best in their future efforts supporting the UOMAAS and can’t wait to see what’s in store!
