Fireside Chat: Tesla & Corporate Finance – Strategy Behind the Disruption

What happens when bold ambition meets financial strategy?

Step into the world of Tesla—where innovation, risk, and corporate finance collide. This exclusive fireside chat goes beyond the headlines to reveal how Tesla leverages capital structure, valuation strategies, and investment decisions to power its mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

We will examine how one of the world’s most disruptive companies makes high-stakes financial decisions in a fast-moving, high-risk environment. Hear from our Manchester MBA alumni, who will share both:

✅ The inside-out view: how finance theory is applied in real-world scenarios
✅ The outside-in view: how Tesla is perceived by markets and the implications for its business

What You’ll Discover:

  • How Tesla funds its innovation—from Gigafactories to autonomous vehicles
  • Whether Tesla’s sky-high valuation reflects financial fundamentals or future potential
  • What financial strategy looks like when you’re building a mission, not just a product

If you are exploring a part-time MSc in Financial Management or the Manchester Global MBA, this session offers a powerful preview of strategic, real-world thinking that defines industry leaders and the dynamic, real-world learning you can expect.

Stay on after the fireside chat for a short preview of both programmes— with workshops delivered in Kuala Lumpur.
